This page provides information on the various transportation methods available for getting to/from and around SLAC.
The Marguerite shuttle is Stanford University's complimentary public shuttle system which traverses the campus Monday through Friday all year (except University holidays). The SLAC line operates between SLAC (with a stop at the entrance to the Guest House) and the Stanford campus, and is available from 7:48 a.m. to 8:28 p.m., approximately every 20 minutes.
Bicycling is ideally suited to the Stanford area's mild climate, flat terrain and gentle, rolling hills. It's a quiet, affordable, and healthy way to get around. Please be aware that you must wear a helmet at all times when bicycling anywhere on the SLAC site.
511 is your one-stop phone and web source for up-to-the-minute Bay Area traffic, transit, rideshare, and bicycling information. It's FREE and available whenever you need it – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – from anywhere in the nine-county Bay Area.
Commercial limousine services are available from local airports San Francisco International (SJC), Oakland International (OAK), and San Jose International (SJC). It is advisable to request the rate when making the reservation. If you need assistance, please contact your host.
