CV Dos and Don'ts

All foreign nationals conducting work at SLAC must provide a curriculum vitae (CV) in compliance with DOE and SLAC requirements.

A curriculum vitae (CV) must conform to the following guidelines:

• Include all education and work history since the start of college
• Provide month/year (MM/YYYY) for all start and end dates.
• Include all science and technology specialties.
• Use current/accurate names for academic institutions.
• Explain any gaps in education or employment.
• Indicate immigration status and bring a printed copy along with required documents on arrival.
• Do not include sensitive personal information (SSN, passport numbers, etc.).

All CVs will be uploaded to the DOE’s Foreign Access Central Tracking System (FACTS). By submitting your CV, you consent to SLAC sharing this information with the DOE. Additionally, please be prepared to provide a printed copy of your CV along with all required immigration documents (green card, passport, etc.) upon arrival at SLAC.
